Group Head of Digital Marketing
R1.4m - R1.6m plus bonus
Gauteng/Cape Town
Superb career opportunity with leading global financial services group. This is a new position reporting into the Head of Group Brand and you will be responsible for driving the digital marketing strategy for the Group function while accelerating Digital Marketing Transformation efforts. In addition, you will be responsible for leading the Group Brand Digital Marketing team while helping upskilling digital marketers and other marketing professionals across the Group.
Key Performance Areas
- Actively drive the development and implementation of the organisation’s digital marketing strategy
- Translating of strategy into actionable goals and execute relevant projects / initiatives across channels aligned to strategic objectives with specific performance measures to support business growth
- Actively manage digital marketing budgets and ROI
- Actively align and engage internal stakeholders to understand and influence group wide strategies
- Actively manage and mentor digital marketing team in order to increase competencies, innovation and performance
- Co-ordinate the implementation of continuous industry / macro-environment scanning and apply insights to make sure that systems, practices and processes are future proofed and aligned with best practice
- Assess and critically evaluate how industry/sector (including fintech) and competitive forces impact the implementation of digital channel solutions
- Keep abreast of changes. And new development to relevant regulations, industry standards and organisational compliance
Qualifications and experience
- Degree / Post-graduate qualification in Marketing with a focus on Digital Marketing and Technology
- 8-10 years experience in digital marketing of which 3-5 years at management level
- Proven experience in leading digital marketing teams
- Experience in developing and implementing successful digital marketing strategies and campaigns
- Proven experience with and a thorough understanding of SEO/SEM, Google analytics, the full range of Google advertising platforms, social media platforms or similar
