Established Wealth Management practice seeking a CFP® qualified Financial Planner to provide technical financial planning and advisory support.

This is primarily a planning and strategy-focused role, not a client acquisition or sales-driven advisory position. The successful candidate will support senior advisors with financial plan construction, modelling, analysis and regulatory compliance.

This role is best suited to a newly qualified or early-career CFP® professional.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Draft and construct comprehensive financial plans

• Perform retirement planning and investment modelling

• Conduct risk assessments and gap analysis

• Prepare portfolio review documentation

• Assist senior advisors with technical planning support

• Interpret financial statements and investment structures

• Ensure compliance with FAIS and regulatory standards

• Support implementation of recommended strategies

• Maintain accurate client planning records and documentation

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

• CFP® designation (Certified Financial Planner – completed)

• Relevant tertiary qualification in Finance / Investments / Financial Planning

• 1–3 years’ experience within a Wealth Management or Financial Advisory environment

• Sound knowledge of:

  • Retirement planning

  • Risk planning

  • Investment structuring

  • Tax-efficient strategies

• Strong analytical and financial modelling skills

• Strong written communication and report drafting ability

• High attention to detail
