Job Summary
You’ll join a collaborative environment where you’ll play a key role in valuations, reserving, and reporting, while working closely with Finance, Risk, and wider business stakeholders.Key Responsibilities
- Perform monthly and quarterly actuarial valuations
- Support IFRS 17 reporting and calculations
- Assist with statutory and embedded value reporting
- Conduct reserving and liability calculations
- Perform experience investigations and forecasting
- Develop and maintain actuarial models and reporting tools
- Extract, analyse, and validate data using SQL
- Prepare reports for regulatory and internal stakeholders
- Collaborate across Finance, Risk, and Product teams
- Ensure compliance with actuarial governance standards
Requirements
Qualifications
- Actuarial degree
Experience
- Minimum 4 years’ experience in life insurance
- Strong valuations and financial reporting experience
- IFRS 17 exposure essential
- Progress toward actuarial qualification advantageous
Skills
- Minimum 8 actuarial exams completed
- Strong SQL skills
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving ability
- Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills
- Ability to work independently and within a team
