What We're Looking For
We're seeking exceptional candidates who can demonstrate:- CA(SA) qualification
- Newly Qualified CA(SA) up to 3 years post-articles experience
- Completed articles at a Big-5 audit firm
- Strong academic track record throughout Matric and University
- Mathematics distinction (70%+) advantageous
- Availability of both Matric and University transcripts
- Strong technical accounting and financial reporting knowledge
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Professional presence with strong communication skills
- Willingness and potential to relocate to Mauritius in the future
Key Responsibilities
As a Senior Accountant, you will:- Prepare and review monthly financial reports and management accounts
- Manage month-end and year-end reporting processes
- Perform complex reconciliations and general ledger reviews
- Assist with the preparation of annual financial statements
- Ensure compliance with IFRS and internal financial controls
- Support budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis activities
- Liaise with auditors and assist with audit processes
- Identify opportunities to improve processes and reporting efficiencies
- Partner with stakeholders across the business to support decision-making
