FP&A Manager to play a pivotal role in shaping business strategy through financial planning, analysis, and performance management. Reporting directly to the

Key Responsibilities
Financial Planning & Forecasting
- Lead the annual budgeting process and ongoing forecasting cycles across the business.
- Support long-term strategic planning through financial modelling and scenario analysis.
- Develop and maintain integrated financial models to support commercial and operational decision-making.
- Provide forward-looking insights and recommendations to support business growth initiatives.
Business Performance Analysis
- Deliver detailed financial analysis to support strategic and operational decisions.
- Monitor and evaluate financial performance across multiple entities and business units.
- Conduct variance analysis against budgets, forecasts, and strategic objectives, identifying key trends and risks.
- Analyse profitability drivers and provide recommendations to enhance financial performance.
Commercial Finance & Strategic Support
- Conduct financial due diligence on new business opportunities, investments, and strategic initiatives.
- Support pricing, cost optimisation, and margin improvement projects.
- Partner with operational leaders to identify opportunities for increased efficiency and business improvement.
- Assist leadership teams in evaluating the financial impact of key business decisions.
Reporting & Stakeholder Engagement
- Prepare executive-level management reports, dashboards, and performance packs.
- Present financial insights and recommendations to senior leadership.
- Transform complex financial data into clear, practical, and commercially relevant information.
- Build strong relationships with stakeholders across finance and operational functions.
Requirements
Qualifications & Experience
- CIMA qualification preferred, alternatively a BCom degree with completed Articles.
- 2-3 years' experience within FP&A, Commercial Finance, Financial Analysis, or a related field.
- Proven experience in budgeting, forecasting, and management reporting.
- Strong financial analysis and business performance reporting experience.
- Exposure to financial due diligence processes.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills with the ability to build complex financial models from the ground up.
- Strong understanding of variance analysis, profitability reporting, and financial performance metrics.
- Experience within the manufacturing, engineering, construction, or similar industries will be advantageous.
- Exposure to Xero and/or Zoho systems would be beneficial.
