A dynamic and growth-focused organisation is seeking a talented FP&A Manager to play a pivotal role in shaping business strategy through financial planning, analysis, and performance management. Key Responsibilities

Financial Planning & Forecasting

• Lead the annual budgeting process and ongoing forecasting cycles across the business.
• Support long-term strategic planning through financial modelling and scenario analysis.
• Develop and maintain integrated financial models to support commercial and operational decision-making.
• Provide forward-looking insights and recommendations to support business growth initiatives.

Business Performance Analysis

• Deliver detailed financial analysis to support strategic and operational decisions.
• Monitor and evaluate financial performance across multiple entities and business units.
• Conduct variance analysis against budgets, forecasts, and strategic objectives, identifying key trends and risks.
• Analyse profitability drivers and provide recommendations to enhance financial performance.

Commercial Finance & Strategic Support

• Conduct financial due diligence on new business opportunities, investments, and strategic initiatives.
• Support pricing, cost optimisation, and margin improvement projects.
• Partner with operational leaders to identify opportunities for increased efficiency and business improvement.
• Assist leadership teams in evaluating the financial impact of key business decisions.

Reporting & Stakeholder Engagement

• Prepare executive-level management reports, dashboards, and performance packs.
• Present financial insights and recommendations to senior leadership.
• Transform complex financial data into clear, practical, and commercially relevant information.
• Build strong relationships with stakeholders across finance and operational functions.

Requirements

Qualifications & Experience

• CIMA qualification preferred, alternatively a BCom degree with completed Articles.
• 2-3 years' experience within FP&A, Commercial Finance, Financial Analysis, or a related field.
• Proven experience in budgeting, forecasting, and management reporting.
• Strong financial analysis and business performance reporting experience.
• Exposure to financial due diligence processes.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills with the ability to build complex financial models from the ground up.
• Strong understanding of variance analysis, profitability reporting, and financial performance metrics.
• Experience within the manufacturing, engineering, construction, or similar industries will be advantageous.
• Exposure to Xero and/or Zoho systems would be beneficial.
