Key Responsibilities
- Drive financial planning, forecasting, and budgeting processes across operations.
- Analyse financial and operational data to provide actionable insights for business performance improvement.
- Partner with operational leaders and project teams to support cost management and strategic initiatives.
- Present financial results, trends, and risks to senior management, ensuring sound decision‑making.
Job Experience and Skills Required
Education:- Qualified CA(SA)
- Minimum 3–5 years post‑articles experience within mining, heavy industry, or a similar operational environment
- Strong financial modelling, forecasting, and analysis capability
- Proven experience partnering with senior operational stakeholders
- Advanced Excel
- Strong commercial and strategic thinking
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Ability to work in demanding, fast‑paced environments
- SAP / ERP systems experience beneficial
- CA(SA)
- Commercial/operational finance exposure
- Willingness to travel to site if required
