Job Summary
A timeshare resort seeks a Debtors Controller for a property with over 300 rooms near Hazyview. Full debtors control function on all Homeowner accounts, including collection of outstanding levies, reconciliation of accounts, resolving queries by e-mail or telephonically, emailing of monthly statements, invoicing, month end journals and reports, timeous capturing of monthly debit orders, reconciliation of debit orders, statements e-mailed monthly to owners paying by debit order, ensuring that all documentation required for debit orders are up to date. Vigilant in collecting of arrears debt on overdue accounts Month End Procedures, Levy transfers, Homeowners transfers, etc. Reconciliation of restaurant room charges daily. Ordering and Control of Stationery at economical sensible levels taking budget into consideration. Assisting accounts department with general accounts and office duties Attention to detail as to debtors and general account allocations. Compliance with all company and departmental policies and procedures Reporting to the Financial Manager. The minimum requirements are:_ Matric (Grade 12) Qualification relating to finance Minimum 2 years experience in a small Hotel or a company Should be fluent in English, be willing to work hard and learn under a well experienced Finance Manager Recent contactable references essential An UPDATED & detailed CV in MS Word format (starting with current position) is required, as well as a Recent head & shoulders photo, taken in the last 6 months.
