Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented, reliable, and highly organised Payroll & Monthly Accounting Administrator to join our team. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working with numbers, accuracy, and deadlines, and who is comfortable handling both payroll and monthly accounting functions in a structured, compliance-driven environment
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with end-to-end payroll processing on a regular pay cycle
- Review, validate, and capture timecards, pay adjustments, deductions, and benefits accurately
- Perform basic payroll reconciliations and resolve discrepancies
- Respond to employee payroll queries professionally and confidentially
- Support onboarding and offboarding payroll activities, including system updates and statutory requirements
- Manage statutory payroll submissions and compliance, including:

EMP201 and EMP501 submissions

UIF registrations and de-registrations

Compensation Fund registrations and submissions
- Prepare monthly accounting records up to trial balance
- Process journals, reconciliations, and monthly management reports
- Assist with VAT, EMP submissions, and general statutory compliance
- Liaise with clients, payroll providers, and internal teams where required
Minimum Requirements
- 1–3 years’ experience in Payroll and/or Accounting (advantageous)
- Strong numerical skills with high attention to detail and accuracy
- Excellent confidentiality, integrity, and professionalism
- Ability to work under pressure and meet strict deadlines consistently
- Clear and professional verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team

- Experience assisting with compliance or audit support (advantageous)
