Job Summary
This opportunity is ideal for a CA(SA) with solid post-articles experience who can step in, add value quickly and ensure continuity across the finance function. The role requires a hands-on approach, strong technical ability and the confidence to operate in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the full finance function
- Manage monthly reporting, ensuring accuracy and timeliness
- Review financial statements, journals and reconciliations
- Ensure compliance with IFRS and internal controls
- Support budgeting, forecasting and financial planning processes
- Liaise with auditors and support audit requirements
- Maintain strong financial controls and reporting standards
- Provide support to the broader finance team and leadership
Job Experience and Skills Required:
- CA(SA) qualification (non-negotiable)
- Minimum 2 years’ post-articles experience
- Experience within industrial or manufacturing environments preferred
- Strong technical accounting and reporting skills
- Ability to step into a role and deliver with minimal supervision
- Strong Excel and ERP systems experience
- Detail-oriented with a proactive, solutions-driven approach
