Kendrick Recruitment is looking for a meticulous and proactive Payroll Officer to join a prestigious luxury wine estate in Franschhoek. The Payroll Officer will manage all aspects of the payroll function, ensuring compliance, accuracy, and efficiency.
Key responsibilities include:
Processing monthly payroll accurately and on time
Maintaining employee records and payroll files
Managing leave, deductions, bonuses, and allowances
Reconciling payroll accounts and liaising with finance and HR teams
Ensuring compliance with labour laws and statutory requirements
Handling payroll queries professionally and efficiently
Supporting the HR and finance teams with reporting and audits
Who they’re looking for:
Proven payroll experience, preferably in hospitality or a multi-department environment
Strong numerical and administrative skills with high attention to detail
Proficient in payroll software and MS Office
Excellent organisational and time-management skills
Reliable, proactive, and able to meet deadlines
