Job Summary
An established company in the construction industry is seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Financial Accountant to join its finance team. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated professional to contribute to a dynamic and growing organisation.
Key Responsibilities
Manage the full accounting function, including Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, and Payroll
Prepare and submit accurate monthly financial reports
Maintain the general ledger, including reconciliations and compliance processes
Prepare and submit statutory returns, including VAT/GST, FBT, corporate tax, and related compliance requirements
Assist the Finance Manager with financial reporting, analysis, and ad hoc projects
Liaise with external auditors and provide supporting documentation during audit processes
Minimum Requirements
Matric (Grade 12)
Bachelor's Degree in Accounting
Completed articles at a recognised accounting firm (essential)
Valid driver's licence and own reliable vehicle
Strong numerical, analytical, and problem-solving skills
High level of accuracy and attention to detail
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software
