Minimum Requirements
Chartered Accountant (CA(SA))/ CIMA Qualification essential
Minimum 5–10 years’ experience in a senior finance role within a manufacturing environment
Proven track record in financial management, reporting, and strategic planning
Hands-on experience with asset management and operational finance
Excellent organisational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
Proficiency in creating and maintaining project documentation, reports, and records
Strong computer literacy, including advanced skills in Microsoft
Excellent verbal and written communication skills to liaise with stakeholders and project teams effectively
Strong interpersonal skills for effective team collaboration and relationship building
Flexibility and adaptability to work under pressure, meet tight deadlines, and handle changing priorities
Key Responsibilities
Lead the finance function, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning
Provide strategic financial insights to support executive decision-making
Drive long-term financial planning and capital allocation strategies
Partner with the CEO and leadership team to execute corporate strategy
Ensure accurate, timely financial reporting in line with IFRS/ GAAP
Oversee preparation of board-level reports and presentations
Manage cash flow, working capital, and profitability
Ensure effective budgeting control and financial performance tracking
Maintain strong internal controls and risk management frameworks
Ensure compliance with IFRS, SARS regulations, and corporate governance standards
Lead internal and external audit processes
Liaise with auditors, regulators, and financial institutions
Drive continuous improvement of finance processes and systems
Ensure alignment between finance and operational functions
Lead, develop, and mentor the finance team
Build strong cross-functional relationships across the business
Present financial performance to executives, board members, and stakeholders
