Consolidations Manager | Port Elizabeth, EC
Hire Resolve is seeking a highly technical and detail-oriented Consolidations Manager to oversee the financial consolidation process for a prominent global organization. This role is critical for ensuring the accuracy and timeliness of reporting across various entities and subsidiaries, providing a comprehensive view of the organization's financial performance.
Key Performance Areas:
Sub-Consolidation Leadership: Lead and manage the end-to-end sub-consolidation process, including the elimination of intercompany transactions and complex reconciliations.
Financial Analysis: Prepare and analyze consolidated financial statements (Income Statements, Balance Sheets, and Cash Flow) while providing actionable insights to senior management.
Compliance & Integrity: Ensure strict adherence to IFRS and local accounting standards, maintaining the integrity of financial data and internal control procedures.
Audit Preparation: Assist with audit preparation and collaborate with external auditors to ensure smooth financial reviews.
Process Improvement: Continuously evaluate and enhance financial reporting processes to drive efficiency and accuracy across the group.
Stakeholder Engagement: Act as a strategic advisor to business unit leaders and senior executives, explaining variances and recommending performance improvements.
Requirements:
Qualification: Qualified CA(SA) is preferred.
Experience: A minimum of 8+ years of experience in finance, with a specific focus on group consolidations and financial reporting.
Technical Mastery: In-depth knowledge of accounting principles, financial consolidation methodologies, and reporting standards (e.g., IFRS, US GAAP).
Software Skills: Proficiency in financial consolidation software and Advanced Excel skills are essential.
Language: Fluency in English (read, write, and speak) is a must due to the company's global footprint.
Attributes: Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills, with the drive to deliver on projects without constant supervision.

Package: Market-related TCTC.
