Job Summary
Overview:
Our client in the FMCG manufacturing sector, is looking for a Group Financial Manager to lead group-level financial management, governance, procurement strategy, and digital transformation initiatives. This role will provide critical insights to support sustainable, profitable growth while ensuring compliance, efficiency, and supplier alignment across the business. The successful candidate will work closely with and report to the CFO.

Requirements:
- Completed BCom / BCompt and SAICA articles
- Registered CA (SA) preferred
- 7+ years’ experience in financial management, ideally in manufacturing, FMCG, or multi-entity groups
- Proven experience in procurement, legal/commercial contracts, and finance automation.
- Strong knowledge of IFRS, tax, corporate governance, and procurement best practices.
- Experience with ERP systems, automation tools, and AI-driven process improvement.
- Exposure to investment analysis, capital projects, and strategic growth initiatives.
Key Areas of Responsibility:
- Lead financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and treasury management.
- Ensure statutory compliance with IFRS, tax, labour laws, and corporate governance.
- Oversee procurement strategy, supplier relationships, and cost optimisation.
- Drive digital transformation, ERP optimisation, automation, and AI initiatives.
- Provide strategic financial insight to support investment decisions, growth, and profitability.
