Job Summary
Position Overview :
We are seeking a detail-oriented and highly organized Bookkeeper to join our team at KPI Consulting. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, managing day-to-day accounting tasks, and supporting the finance function to ensure timely, compliant, and reliable reporting.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records, including posting of all transactions
- Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable functions
- Prepare and process invoices, receipts, and payments
- Reconcile bank accounts, credit cards, and general ledger accounts
- Assist with cash flow tracking and forecasting
- Prepare month-end and year-end financial reports
- Assist external accountants and auditors with documentation and queries
- Process payroll or provide payroll support as required
- Maintain compliance with financial policies, procedures, and relevant legislation
- Provide administrative support to the finance department as needed
Qualifications & Experience
- Proven experience as a Bookkeeper, Accounts Clerk, or similar role
- Proficiency in accounting software such as Xero, Sage, QuickBooks, or Pastel
- Strong understanding of basic accounting principles and bookkeeping practices
- Excellent proficiency with MS Excel and general computer literacy
- Strong attention to detail and high level of accuracy
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
- Relevant financial or accounting qualification or certification is an advantage
