Job Summary
Overview:
This role focuses on consolidating divisional financial information and managing business unit deliverables under strict timelines. It reports to the Divisional Financial Manager.
Minimum Requirements
- Grade 12 and a BCom (or equivalent) with Finance/Accounting as a major.
- 3+ years’ experience in a Finance or Accounting role.
- Experience within the Manufacturing sector is highly advantageous.
Core Responsibilities
- Financial Reporting: Co-ordinate and prepare schedules for the Monthly Automotive Division Financial Pack and upload management packs to SharePoint.
- Cost Accounting: Perform product costing analysis, investigate Purchase Price Variances (PPV), and review GP percentages on individual Bills of Materials (BOMs).
- Budgeting & Forecasting: Consolidate divisional budget submissions and prepare monthly forecasts across platforms like Finnivo and Qlik.
- Internal Controls: Review business unit Balance Sheet reconciliations and ensure compliance with internal policies to prevent fraud.
- Cash Management: Manage daily cash flow, authorize creditor reconciliations, and oversee the divisional cash analytics process.
- Intercompany & CAPEX: Reconcile intercompany balances monthly and manage the CAPEX register to ensure all spend is authorized
