Key Responsibilities:
- Manage the full financial function across the organisation
- Compile and review management accounts, budgets, and forecasts
- Oversee cash flow, reconciliations, and financial reporting processes
- Ensure adherence to tax, statutory, and regulatory requirements
- Lead month-end and year-end reporting, including audits
- Analyse financial performance and provide strategic insights
- Enhance internal controls, processes, and efficiencies
- Partner with senior management on financial planning and decision-making
- Lead, mentor, and support the finance team
Job Experience and Skills Required:
- BCom / CIMA / CA(SA) qualification
- Minimum 5 years’ post-articles experience in a financial management role
- Essential experience within the education sector
- Strong expertise in financial reporting, budgeting, and operational finance
- Proven leadership and stakeholder engagement skills
- Commercially astute with a hands-on, solutions-driven approach
- Ability to excel in a fast-paced, people-centric environment
