Job Summary
A leader in the Financial services and investment industry is looking for a Creative Lead (Agency ECD) to join their marketing team.
Responsibilities
- Work with the strategists to define a product creative strategy and go-to-market proposition
- Conceptualise new creative campaigns for television that will also extend into other media
- Present / pitch creative concepts to Exco and senior leadership for approval
- Work with production companies to define the exact art direction of the campaign
- Work with internal resources such as data analyst, actuaries and finance to source appropriate input resources to make the campaign work
- To direct the TV shoot with the production company
- To produce final TV adverts of various lengths and formats for submission to TV stations and digital platforms
- To compile and manage the production budget
- To work with the management team in evaluating marketing opportunities and sponsorships
- To proactively conceptualise ideas to further enhance customer perception and thereby increase the generation of leads
- To work across all business products
- To proactively conceptualise creative ideas to enhance digital interaction
- Work across all products including personal, business, life and funeral insurance, investments and CSI initiatives
Requirements
- Matric
- 8 years’ work experience with a minimum of 3 years’ in a senior creative position
- A solid understanding of design, copy and web practices
- Have an in-depth knowledge of brand development and multi-channel marketing models
- A creative visionary and strategic thinker
- Deep understanding and experience working across end-to-end consumer experiences and full funnel creative efforts in a digital and technology-driven environment
- Strong presentation and communications skills including experience working closely with senior leadership (c-suite)
