A well-established professional practice based in Centurion is seeking a qualified and experienced Accountant to join its team. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering a full suite of accounting, tax, payroll, and statutory services to a diverse client portfolio. This role is suited to a detail-oriented professional with strong technical competence and the ability to manage multiple client accounts efficiently.

Minimum Requirements

The ideal candidate must meet the following criteria:

• A relevant BCom degree at NQF Level 7

  • Candidates still completing undergraduate studies will not be considered

  • Postgraduate qualifications will be an advantage

• Completed SAIPA or SAICA articles

• Fluency in Afrikaans and English (spoken and written)

• Own reliable transport to and from the offices in Centurion

Key Responsibilities Financial & Management Accounting

• Provide comprehensive financial and management accounting services to clients, including:

  • Bookkeeping and general accounting

  • Administration and maintenance of client files and supporting documentation

  • Preparation of management accounts and management statements

  • Preparation of annual financial statements with full supporting working papers

• Accounting systems utilised include:

  • Sage Accounting Online

  • QuickBooks Online

  • Fincon

  • Odoo

  • Pastel (Desktop)

  • Xero

• Drafting of annual financial statements using Draftworx

• Preparation of reconciliations, schedules, and working papers primarily using Microsoft Excel

Tax Services

• VAT calculations, reconciliations, and submissions

• Income tax calculations for individuals and companies

• Preparation and submission of provisional tax returns

• General tax compliance and support services

Payroll Services

• Processing payroll on Sage Payroll Online and Pastel Payroll & HR (Desktop)

• EMP submissions

• Preparation and submission of IRP5 and IT3(a) certificates

• Completion of Compensation Fund Return of Earnings

Company Secretarial Services

• CIPC compliance, including:

  • Annual returns

  • Beneficial ownership filings

  • Updating of director and member information
