Financial/Cost Controller – Camps Bay, Cape Town Introduction A prestigious luxury hotel in Camps Bay, Cape Town is seeking a highly skilled Financial/Cost Controller to join its hospitality team. Job Requirements Financial Leadership Lead the full financial function, including budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis. Provide strategic financial insights to senior leadership. Ensure compliance with internal controls, audit standards, and statutory requirements. Cost Control Monitor food, beverage, and operational costs across departments. Conduct regular stock takes and implement cost‑saving initiatives. Oversee procurement, supplier negotiations, and inventory management. Accounting & Reporting Manage accounts payable/receivable, reconciliations, and payroll support. Prepare monthly management accounts and financial statements. Maintain accurate general ledger and balance sheet reconciliations. Revenue Oversight Ensure accurate revenue capture and billing processes. Support revenue management with forecasting and yield analysis. Monitor cash flow, working capital, and expenditure visibility. Qualifications & Experience Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Hospitality Management. Minimum 5 years’ experience in hotel finance or cost control (luxury/boutique environment preferred). Proficiency in Sage, Opera PMS, POS systems, and MS Office. Strong knowledge of hospitality cost structures, procurement, and inventory cycles. Excellent leadership, communication, and analytical skills. Package Salary: R 15 000 – R 18 000 pm DOE
