Job Summary
Purpose of the job:
Responsibilities:
- Reporting: Manage and maintain the financial accounting systems and data structures of the organisation to ensure the production of accurate management accounts and relevant other financial reports to stakeholders.
- Management Information: Prepare annual budgets and forecasts aligned to strategic plans.
- Working Capital and Assets: Oversee the effective management of fixed assets and depreciation records in line with accounting policies.
- Financial Systems and Integration: Ensure financial and non-financial reporting systems are maintained to the standards required
- Statutory Requirements: Manage tax liabilities and obligations under existing and proposed legislation.
- Risk Management: Evaluate and improve the financial and general control environment
- Leadership Management: Manage the team’s performance and day-today resourcing through operational cycles
Qualifications and requirements:
- Must be CA registered
- Required degree
- 5-8 years’ experience in a similar role that must include supervisory responsibility
