We are pleased to offer an opportunity for a diligent and detail-driven Finance Clerk to join our Head Office Finance Team. This role is well-suited to someone who thrives in a structured environment, is passionate about accuracy, and enjoys supporting a high-performing finance function. As a Finance Clerk, you will play an important role in ensuring the smooth running of financial processes across the Group. Responsibilities include: Financial Processing & Administration Processing daily receipts, payments, cashbook entries and journal allocations. Reconciling bank accounts and resolving variances promptly. Capturing and verifying supplier invoices and credit notes. Preparing and processing supplier payments via online banking. Conducting monthly reconciliations of supplier accounts and addressing outstanding queries. Reporting & Month-End Support Assisting with compiling monthly management reports and supporting schedules. Ensuring accurate financial data is captured in Pastel and submitted within deadlines. Providing administrative support across creditors, debtors, revenue reporting, petty cash and other areas as required. Stakeholder Engagement Responding to internal and external finance-related queries within agreed timeframes. Liaising with suppliers to ensure statements, queries and payment arrangements are managed efficiently. Team & Values Alignment Building collaborative relationships with colleagues, suppliers and hotel teams. Upholding the Group’s values and contributing positively to its culture. Supporting sustainability initiatives within the department and the broader business. Requirements Matric. At least 3 years’ experience working in a finance or accounting environment (creditors, cashbook and/or petty cash experience required). Solid working knowledge of Pastel Accounting, Micros and Excel. Strong numerical reasoning, accuracy and attention to detail. Ability to plan and prioritise workload to meet strict deadlines.
