Kendrick Recruitment is currently recruiting for a Finance / Accountant on behalf of a luxury safari travel agency based in Cape Town. This role is suited to a detail-oriented finance professional with experience in debtors, creditors, and general accounting functions within a fast-paced travel or hospitality environment.
Key Responsibilities
Manage debtors and creditors, ensuring accurate and timely processing
Reconcile supplier statements, bank accounts, and credit cards
Process invoices, payments, and expense claims
Assist with monthly management accounts and financial reporting
Monitor cash flow and support budgeting processes
Ensure compliance with financial controls and internal procedures
Liaise with internal departments and external suppliers as required
Requirements
Previous experience in a finance, accounting, or bookkeeping role
Experience within the travel, tourism, or hospitality sector is advantageous
Strong numerical skills with high attention to detail
Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel
Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
Professional, reliable, and well organised
