Job Summary
Our Maitland based client is looking for an experienced Debtors and Creditors Assistant to join their team. The successful candidate will be an immediately available SA citizen able to communicate in both English and Afrikaans coupled with 2+ years’ Debtors and Creditors experience using Pastel V19.
Requirements:
· Grade 12
· Relevant financial qualification
· Experienced with Pastel version 19 and MS Office
· 2+ years’ relevant experience with Debtors / Creditors / Journals / Recons, etc.
· Stable work history
· Good, contactable references
· Excellent attendance record
· SA citizen able to communicate in both English and Afrikaans
· Own transport
· Immediately available
Working Hours:
· Monday to Friday: 06:00 - 15:00
· Alt Saturday: 06:00 - 11:00
· Public Holidays are part of the normal working hours
Salary:
· R10,000 - R17,000
· Paid on the last working day of the month
Responsibilities:
· Debtors
· Creditors
· Generate invoices and credit notes
· Generate statements
· Manage client queries
· Manage debtors’ age analysis
· Allocate GL codes for journals
· Bank / Petty Cash recons
· Assist with month-end reports
· Assist with management reports
