An exciting opportunity exists for a motivated Junior Accountant to join a dynamic group company with a diverse portfolio of businesses (private company). This role offers exposure across multiple industries and the chance to gain broad commercial and financial experience while learning how a group structure operates from the ground up.
This is ideal for someone who enjoys variety, takes ownership, and wants to build a solid long-term career in finance by understanding the full financial lifecycle of a business.
Key Responsibilities
You will be involved in the day-to-day financial operations across various entities within the group, including:
Capturing and processing financial transactions
Debtors and creditors reconciliations
Bank reconciliations
Assisting with monthly management accounts
Supporting month-end and year-end processes
Maintaining accurate financial records and reporting
Assisting with ad hoc finance and operational projects
Working closely with management to support business decision-making
Requirements
Minimum Requirements
Degree or Diploma in Accounting or Finance
Completed SAIPA / CIMA Articles
Strong understanding of accounting fundamentals
Good attention to detail and accuracy
Proficient in Microsoft Excel (accounting software exposure advantageous)
Strong willingness to learn and grow
