- Strong understanding of accounting principles, financial reporting and reconciliation Ability to analyse financial data and identify discrepancies or anomalies.
- Strong attention to detail with a high level of accuracy in financial processing and reporting.
- Ability to manage multiple financial processes and meet strict reporting deadlines.
- Proficiency in ERP systems and Microsoft Excel for financial analysis and reporting.
- Strong problem-solving ability when investigating variances or financial queries.
- Ability to communicate financial information clearly to internal stakeholders
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and integrity when handling financial information
Requirements
- 3–5 years accounting experience
- Experience with general ledger, reconciliations and month-end processes
- Experience in manufacturing / retail environment advantageous
- Accounting principles and financial reporting
- ERP / Accounting systems
- Microsoft Office (especially Excel)
- VAT and statutory compliance requirements
