Job Title: Senior Accounting Manager - Property DevelopmentLocation: Joburg South Region, Alberton
Position Overview:
Hire Resolve is seeking a skilled Accounting Manager to assist our client's accounting director in managing all the Multi-company group accounting, and all the transactions/ transfers between group companies. (Forty companies)
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage the financial reporting process for property development projects, including monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
- Develop and monitor project budgets and forecasts to ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget.
- Analyze financial data and prepare reports for senior management on project performance and financial health.
- Collaborate with project managers, finance team, and external partners to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting.
- Provide support and guidance to the accounting team on project-related financial matters.
- Identify opportunities for process improvements and efficiencies within the accounting department.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
- Any accounting associations (e.g. SAICA, SAIPA, CIMA, etc.) Preferred
- 5+ Years of experience managing accounts within a similar industry( e.g. property, real estate, etc.)
- Able or residing in the Joburg South Region
- Valid drivers license and vehicle
- Experienced with both accounts payable, receivable, invoices, and all other transactions and transfers between a group of companies.
- Prior experience managing accounts of 30+ Group of companies preferred
