DUTIES:
Identify trends and report on all KPI’s including market share analysis to operations and senior management.
Critically evaluate financial forecast accuracy and proactively identify areas of risk or opportunity.
Ensure accuracy and timeliness of all reports to internal and external customers.
Provide cleaner analysis for investment appraisal purposes including the use of NPV and DCF calculations.
Analysis of labour metrics, providing key insights into potential under/over staffing issues.
Detailed modelling of key business areas to provide recommendations for improvement.
Prepare Internal Financial reports and presentations and ensure they are free from error.
Assist with the completion of the annual operating budget and capital expenditure plan.
Maintain current knowledge of industry best practice, regulatory requirements, technical and systems developments and business opportunities.
REQUIREMENTS & EXPERIENCE:
Bachelor of Commerce or similar relevant equivalent qualification
3years experience in a similar role
Advanced Excel skills and working knowledge of the other Microsoft applications.
Project Management skills and experience.
Management experience including Team Leadership
Substantial analytical experience in a planning and/or finance environment.
Strong background in financial planning, operational analyses and computer systems knowledge.
Experience of casino operations will be an advantage.
