Job Summary
Job Description:
As the Financial Analyst, your duties and responsibilities include the following:
Build, maintain and optimize project finance models, including valuations, sensitivities, and post-close updates
Support capital structuring, portfolio optimization, budgeting, cash forecasting, and shareholder reporting
Assist with M&A analysis, valuations, and due diligence across financial, legal, technical and insurance workstreams
Contribute to financial input to bids, PPA’s, commercial contracts, and investment committee submissions
Monitor asset and project performance vs budget, ensuring covenant compliance and accurate reporting
Support the structuring and negotiation of debt and equity financing with lenders, banks, and investors
Collaborate with business developers and engineers on project feasibility, cost benchmarking, and market analysis
Assist in financial close, treasury liaison, and maintaining project databases and committee documentation
Skills & Experience:
1-2 years experience in a project-based, investment, corporate finance or infrastructure environment
Proven experience in financial modeling
Excel advanced proficiency is essential
Solid understanding of basic accounting, investment principles, and corporate finance fundamentals
Strong analytical skills
Confident communicator with excellent stakeholder management skills
A passion for renewable energy and the commercial drivers behind long-term, sustainable investments
Qualification:
Completed Finance or Accounting degree
Grade 12 (matric)
