Job Summary
Analyse material, labour, overhead, and margin variances
Track production yields, waste, and material usage vs standards
Maintain BOM accuracy and standard costing
Partner with production and warehouse teams to drive efficiency
Manage stock control processes, including cycle counts and stock takes
Investigate and resolve stock variances and root causes
Monitor slow‑moving, obsolete, and high‑risk inventory
Ensure accuracy of GRNs, production issues, and dispatch movements
Process transactions up to trial balance
Prepare journals, reconciliations, and support month‑end
Assist with management reporting, budgets, and forecasts
Support VAT submissions and fixed asset records
Maintain strong financial controls and process discipline
Support internal and external audits
Track KPIs and flag risks or variances early
Contribute to improved reporting, data accuracy, and automation
Skills & Experience:
Minimum 2–5 years’ experience in a manufacturing or FMCG environment
Strong cost accounting, stock control, and variance analysis skills
Comfortable working in a fast‑paced, on‑site factory environment
Strong Excel skills (SQL exposure an advantage)
ERP experience within a manufacturing setting preferred
Analytical, detail‑driven, and operationally minded
Qualification:
Degree in Accounting or Finance
CIMA completed or in progress (Strategic level or above preferred)
