Job Summary
Ensure accuracy of daily figures and reconciliations
Monitor and consolidate daily sales, expenses, and cash-up reports
Resolve reporting discrepancies with store managers
Stock & Inventory Management
Conduct regular financial and stock audits across all sites
Ensure adherence to accounting standards, internal controls, and company policies
Flag risks, irregularities, or non-compliance to senior management
Analyse product profitability and margins
Adjust costing models based on ingredient costs, imports, or currency fluctuations
Prepare monthly and quarterly cost analysis and variance reports
Provide insights into store-level profitability and operational performance
Deliver ad-hoc financial analysis to support management decisions
Skills and Experience:
Knowledge of IFRS for SMEs and VAT/tax compliance
Minimum 3–5 years’ experience in cost accounting, ideally in hospitality, retail, or food & beverage
Strong knowledge of stock control and cost management.
Advanced Excel skills
ERP systems experience
Experience with POS-integrated stock systems is advantageous
Qualification:
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
Professional accounting certification (SAIPA,SAICA,CIMA) preferred
