Step Into a Hands‑On Accounting Role
This is a practical, operational accounting role suited to a detail‑driven professional who is confident managing core finance functions, monitoring costs, and supporting business activities across projects and operations.Accuracy, strong Excel skills, and the ability to work under pressure are essential.
Key Responsibilities
- Branch financial reporting, including balance sheet reconciliations, cashflow reporting, and creditors management
- Daily banking, invoice capturing, reconciliations, and supplier account maintenance
- Cost control support, including allocation of labour and consumables to projects and monitoring budgets
- Project and job tracking from quotation through to completion, including GP and sales reporting
- General finance and administrative support to branch and operational teams
Who Should Apply
- Relevant qualification in Accounting or Finance
- Proven experience in an Accountant or similar finance role
- Strong Excel skills and experience using accounting software (Sage / Pastel advantageous)
- High attention to detail with the ability to meet deadlines under pressure
- Professional, reliable, and able to work independently while supporting multiple stakeholders
