Job Summary
Job Description:
Oversee daily, weekly, and monthly accounting functions across the property
Manage and reconcile general ledger, journals, and balance sheet accounts
Prepare accurate monthly management accounts, financial reports, and variance analyses
Handle costing, including menu costing, stock costing, and cost control across departments
Ensure accurate processing of revenue, expenses, and operational transactions
Manage accounts payable and receivable, ensuring timeous reconciliations and payments
Oversee cash flow, banking, and petty cash management
Ensure compliance with hospitality financial standards, internal controls, and company policies
Work closely with department managers and F&B teams to monitor costs and improve financial efficiency
Utilise Opera and MyPro systems for daily financial processing, reporting, and analysis
Assist with budgets, forecasts, and year-end audit preparation
Support senior finance leadership with ad-hoc reporting and analysis as required
Skills & Experience:
Completion of SAIPA articles would be highly advantageous
3 years of experience in an accounting capacity
Qualification:
Relevant degree in finance or accounting
