Job Summary
Full accounting function up to management accounts pack level
Process monthly journals including accruals, provisions and depreciation
Cashbook management, bank reconciliations and cash‑flow forecasting
Maintain sub‑ledger reconciliations (debtors, creditors, intercompany, GL)
Maintain and update the fixed asset register
Prepare and submit monthly management reporting packs
End‑to‑end payroll processing, including payslips, reimbursements and leave administration
Prepare, submit and manage all statutory returns (PAYE, SDL, UIF, VAT, ROE, IT14SD, STATS SA, etc.)
Liaise with SARS, banks, external auditors, insurers and advisors
Support internal and external audits and maintain strong internal controls
Manage insurance administration and claims
Assist with ad‑hoc finance and reporting requirements
Skills & Experience:
Minimum 3 – 5 years’ experience in a similar full‑function accounting role
Strong payroll administration experience
Proven SARS e‑Filing and statutory compliance experience
Experience in preparing management accounts
Strong Excel skills
Experience with mid‑tier ERP systems - advantageous
Ability to operate independently and manage competing deadlines
Qualification:
Diploma OR Degree in Accounting OR Finance
