Job Summary
Overview
An opportunity exists for an experienced Financial Accountant to join a manufacturing environment in Rosslyn. The successful candidate will be responsible for treasury management, financial reporting, VAT and tax submissions, debtor and creditor control, and ensuring the accuracy of financial records.Key Responsibilities
- Manage the treasury function, including weekly payment runs and bank reconciliations.
- Process receipts and payments and ensure exchange control compliance.
- Monitor debtors and review monthly creditor reconciliations.
- Process accruals and provisions.
- Prepare VAT returns and withholding tax submissions.
- Assist with monthly and quarterly financial reporting.
- Liaise with internal departments and support audit requirements.
- Maintain effective financial controls and compliance.
Requirements
- Degree or Diploma in Accounting, Finance, or Auditing.
- Minimum 5 years' experience in a Financial Accountant or similar role.
- Manufacturing industry experience advantageous.
- Strong knowledge of VAT, taxation, and financial reporting.
- Proficient in MS Excel and SAP.
