Key Responsibilities
- Manage the full accounting function from source documents through to trial balance.
- Prepare monthly management accounts and financial reports.
- Perform balance sheet reconciliations and resolve account variances.
- Oversee accounts payable and accounts receivable processes.
- Assist with budgeting, forecasting and cash flow management.
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards, statutory requirements and internal controls.
- Support external audits and annual financial statement preparation.
- Liaise with internal and external stakeholders on finance-related matters.
Job Experience and Skills Required
- BCom Degree in Accounting, Finance or related qualification.
- 3-5 years' accounting experience.
- Proven experience performing the full accounting function.
- Strong understanding of financial reporting and reconciliations.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple deadlines.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills will be advantageous.
- Candidates from any industry background will be considered.
