The Opportunity
Our client, a respected player within the manufacturing / automotive space, is looking for a Financial Manager to lead the site finance function in Port Elizabeth. This role suits a confident finance leader who enjoys being close to operations, partnering with management, and translating financial data into actionable insight. This is a hands-on role where your financial leadership will directly influence efficiency, profitability, and strategic planning at plant level.
Key Responsibilities
- Take full ownership of the site finance function, including FFF, controls, and reporting
- Deliver accurate budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis to support operational planning
- Provide insightful financial analysis to improve cost management and operational performance
- Lead and develop the finance team, fostering accountability and continuous improvement
- Act as a trusted financial partner to operational and senior management
? What You Bring
- BCom in Finance or Accounting
- ±5 years’ finance experience, with at least 3 years in a financial management role
- Background in manufacturing or automotive environments
- Exposure to forex transactions (highly beneficial)
- Working knowledge of N4 / N4NL (Barn) ERP systems
