Your Key Responsibilities:
✅ Lead and manage the full finance function within the hospital
✅ Oversee financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting
✅ Prepare and present monthly management accounts
✅ Monitor daily cash flow and prepare accurate forecasts
✅ Review payroll processes and execute payroll payments
✅ Ensure SARS compliance and VAT submissions
✅ Manage month-end procedures and balance sheet reconciliations
✅ Prepare annual financial statements in accordance with IFRS
✅ Lead, coach, and develop the finance team
✅ Present financial reports to management and board meetings
✅ Drive continuous process improvements and financial efficiencies
✅ Ensure accurate financial reporting within strict deadlines
Our Ideal Candidate:
✔ Relevant Accounting qualification (
CA(SA) highly advantageous)
✔ Minimum 3 years' experience in a Finance Manager or similar role
✔
Essential: Previous hospital or healthcare industry experience✔ Strong knowledge of SARS compliance, VAT, and financial reporting
✔ Payroll management experience
✔ Proven leadership and people management skills
✔ Ability to work under pressure and meet demanding deadlines
✔ Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving abilities
✔ Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills
✔ Own reliable transport
✔ Clear credit record
✔ Experience with
Xero, Sage, and Draftworx advantageous
✔ Advanced proficiency in Excel and financial reporting systems
