Key Responsibilities
- Manage the full debtors and accounts receivable function, including invoicing, reconciliations, collections, account queries, and age analysis.
- Perform general ledger and balance sheet reconciliations, ensuring all financial transactions are accurately recorded and allocated.
- Investigate and resolve accounting discrepancies, variances, and outstanding balances.
- Maintain accurate financial records, supporting documentation, and effective financial controls.
- Assist with month-end financial processing, including provisions, accruals, reconciliations, and reporting.
- Prepare financial reports and support schedules while ensuring reporting deadlines are met.
- Support the continuous improvement of accounting processes and financial controls.
Minimum Requirements
- BCom Degree in Accounting.
- SAIPA qualifications are essential.
- 3-5 years' experience in a Financial Accounting role.
- Experience within the retail, agricultural, or manufacturing sectors.
- Strong technical accounting knowledge and understanding of financial reporting principles.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
- Experience with Sage X3 will be advantageous.
