A well-established manufacturing business is seeking a Management Accountant to join their finance team based in Southdale, Johannesburg South.This role offers the opportunity to become a key business partner to operations, providing valuable financial analysis, budgeting support and strategic insights to drive profitability and business performance.
The successful candidate will work closely with management and operational teams, ensuring accurate reporting, cost control and effective decision-making across the business. The environment is dynamic and fast-paced, making it ideal for a finance professional who enjoys being involved in the operational side of the business.

Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare monthly management accounts and financial reports
- Perform detailed financial modelling and profitability analysis
- Manage standard costing processes and cost reviews
- Analyse inventory movements, stock variances and inventory valuation
- Assist with budgets, forecasts and cash flow planning
- Provide financial support and insights to operational management
- Drive reporting efficiencies and process improvements
- Monitor financial performance and identify areas for cost savings and profitability enhancement
Job Experience and Skills Required:
Education:- BCom Degree in Accounting, Finance or related field
- CIMA qualification or studies towards CIMA will be advantageous
- Minimum 5 years' experience as a Management Accountant
- Manufacturing industry experience is essential
- Strong exposure to standard costing and inventory management
- Experience preparing management accounts and budgets
- Strong financial modelling and financial analysis experience
- Proven ability to work closely with operational stakeholders
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills
- Strong financial modelling capability
- Inventory and stock management expertise
- Standard costing experience
- Pastel experience advantageous
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
