A respected manufacturing organisation is looking for a Management Accountant to join its high-performing finance team. This role offers significant exposure to operational finance and will allow you to work closely with key stakeholders across the business.The successful candidate will play a critical role in costing, performance analysis, budgeting, forecasting and capex reporting.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform detailed cost analysis and variance reporting
- Prepare management accounts
- Develop budgets and forecasts
- Analyse operational and financial performance
- Monitor and report on capital expenditure projects
- Identify business improvement opportunities
- Support strategic planning initiatives
- Prepare board and management reports
- Partner with operational departments
- Drive profitability analysis
- Review and improve costing models
Job Experience and Skills Required
Qualification:
- BCom Degree in Finance, Accounting or related field
- Honours Degree advantageous
Experience:
- 3 to 5 years' Management Accounting experience
- Manufacturing experience essential
- Costing experience required
- Financial analysis experience
- Capex exposure essential
Technical Skills:
- Cost accounting
- Budgeting
- Forecasting
- Variance analysis
- Financial modelling
- Advanced Excel
- ERP exposure advantageous
