Job Summary
Job Description:
Manage the full finance function and ensure the delivery of accurate and meaningful financial information.
Prepare and review monthly management accounts, financial reports, and key business metrics.
Drive budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow planning to support the achievement of business objectives.
Partner with senior leadership to provide financial insight and support strategic decision-making.
Analyse profitability, margins, and operational performance, identifying opportunities to improve business performance.
Evaluate costing models and pricing structures to ensure commercial viability and sustainable profitability.
Monitor working capital, debtors, creditors, and overall financial health of the business.
Strengthen financial controls, governance processes, and reporting frameworks.
Ensure compliance with statutory, regulatory, and tax requirements.
Support external audits and financial reporting obligations.
Identify opportunities to improve efficiencies, reduce costs, and enhance financial processes.
Provide management with actionable financial insights to support growth and operational excellence.
Skills & Experience:
5–10+ years of relevant finance experience, including previous Financial Manager experience.
Strong costing, pricing, margin analysis, and commercial finance experience is essential.
Proven ability to assess profitability and provide commercially focused recommendations.
Experience managing the full finance function within an operational business environment.
Advanced Excel and financial reporting skills.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and business partnering abilities.
Healthcare, hospital, or medical billing experience will be advantageous.
Ability to operate in a hands-on environment where finance is closely integrated with operations.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
Qualifications:
BCom Accounting (minimum requirement).
CA(SA), AGA(SA), PA(SA), or CIMA preferred.
