Key Responsibilities
- Manage monthly and annual tax submissions across French-speaking African countries.
- Ensure compliance with local tax legislation and reporting requirements.
- Prepare and review tax calculations, reconciliations, and supporting schedules.
- Liaise with external advisors, tax authorities, and internal stakeholders.
- Assist with tax audits and regulatory queries.
- Monitor changes in relevant tax legislation and assess business impact.
- Prepare tax reports and compliance documentation for management.
- Support finance teams with tax-related guidance and best practices.
Job Experience and Skills Required
- Degree in Accounting, Taxation, Finance, or related field.
- 3-5 years of relevant tax accounting experience.
- Strong experience with tax compliance, tax submissions, and reconciliations.
- Fluency in French and English is essential due to the nature of stakeholder engagement across French-speaking African regions.
- Experience working with multinational or African tax environments will be advantageous.
- Strong reporting and analytical skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple compliance deadlines.
