Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and review monthly balance sheet reconciliations, ensuring accuracy and adherence to internal controls
- Manage and resolve inter‑company reconciliations across multiple entities and currencies
- Support month‑end close activities, including journals, accruals, and validations
- Partner with the Finance Manager to monitor vendor reconciliations and clearing accounts
- Monitor cash clearing accounts and support supplier payment approvals
- Lead external audit processes, including preparation of audit schedules and resolution of audit queries
- Manage VAT submissions and support corporate tax accounting requirements
- Drive process improvements aligned to group finance policies and risk controls
- Support ERP system usage, reporting dashboards, and financial data integrity
Job Experience and Skills Required
Education:- Degree in Accounting or Finance (essential)
- Professional accounting qualification (advantageous)
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience in a Senior Accountant or similar role
- Strong inter‑company accounting experience
- Proven exposure to multi‑currency and multi‑entity environments
- Strong balance sheet and reconciliation capability
- Advanced Excel and MS Office skills
- ERP system experience essential (SUN / TMFF advantageous)
- Experience with financial dashboards and reporting tools
- High attention to detail and strong problem‑solving skills
- Ability to communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels
- Experience within an international, high‑volume transactional environment
- Exposure to logistics, freight forwarding, or similar industries
