Our client, a well-established organisation, is looking for a Senior Accountant to join their dynamic finance team. This role offers exposure to the full finance function and is suited to an individual who thrives in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring financial integrity, supporting reporting processes, and driving continuous improvement within the finance function.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare monthly management accounts and financial reports
- Perform balance sheet reconciliations and general ledger reviews
- Assist with budgeting and forecasting processes
- Ensure compliance with internal controls and company policies
- Support month-end and year-end reporting requirements
- Assist with audit preparation and stakeholder engagement
- Identify opportunities for process improvements and efficiencies
Job Experience and Skills Required:
- BCom Degree
- Completed Articles
- 1-2 years post-articles experience
- SAIPA or AGA qualification advantageous
- Experience within a high-volume environment preferred
- Strong Excel skills
- Power BI experience advantageous
- MS Business Central, Navision or Pastel experience beneficial
