Key Responsibilities:
- Support the full accounting function with a strong operational focus
- Prepare journals, reconciliations and maintain general ledger integrity
- Assist with monthly management accounts and reporting
- Analyse costs, margins and operational performance
- Support stock, costing and inventory-related processes
- Assist with budgeting, forecasting and variance analysis
- Ensure compliance with internal controls and financial procedures
- Work closely with operational teams to support business performance
- Assist with audits and ad hoc finance projects
Job Experience and Skills Required:
- BCom Degree in Accounting / Finance (essential)
- Minimum 2+ years’ post-articles experience
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and reporting
- Experience in a product-based environment advantageous
- Exposure to stock, costing or operational finance beneficial
- Strong Excel skills and ERP system exposure
- Analytical mindset with strong attention to detail
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, operational environment
