Our client is a leading, listed fintech organisation operating across multiple markets, delivering innovative financial solutions within a highly regulated environment. This is an opportunity to join their Group Finance team, working closely with senior leadership and key stakeholders across the business.
The Group Finance and Management Accountant will play a pivotal role in driving financial reporting, compliance, and business partnering across the group. This position offers exposure to IFRS and US GAAP reporting, SOX compliance, and finance transformation initiatives within a fast-paced, tech-driven environment.
You will be instrumental in ensuring financial accuracy, strengthening internal controls, and delivering insights that support strategic decision-making at group level.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support the preparation of group financial reporting under IFRS and US GAAP
- Assist with regulatory reporting, investor disclosures, and financial statements
- Play a key role in SOX compliance, including controls testing and documentation
- Partner with internal stakeholders across finance, legal, risk, and shared services
- Contribute to finance transformation initiatives, including systems and process improvements
- Support tax compliance and financial control processes across the group
- Assist in managing consolidation and reporting across multiple entities
- Participate in external audit processes and ensure audit readiness
- Drive improvements in automation, reporting accuracy, and efficiency
Job Experience and Skills Required:
- CA(SA) qualification
- Big 4 articles with strong academic track record (only first-time board passes)
- 5–10 years’ post-qualification experience
- Strong exposure to IFRS reporting (US GAAP highly beneficial)
- Experience in group finance / consolidation / reporting environments
- Exposure to SOX or strong internal controls frameworks
- Experience within fintech, financial services, or tech-driven environments
- Advanced Excel and strong financial systems exposure
