Reporting directly to the CFO, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the financial direction of the business by delivering meaningful insights, driving financial planning processes, and supporting key strategic initiatives. Key Responsibilities
- Lead and coordinate the annual budgeting and forecasting cycles across the organisation.
- Deliver insightful financial analysis to support strategic and operational decision-making.
- Conduct financial due diligence, identifying business risks and growth opportunities.
- Design, develop, and maintain robust financial models to support planning, forecasting, and investment initiatives.
- Prepare and present management reports, dashboards, and key performance insights for executive leadership.
- Analyse financial results and profitability trends, highlighting key drivers of performance.
- Perform variance analyses against budgets, forecasts, and business plans, providing actionable recommendations.
- Drive cost analysis initiatives and support effective cost management across the business.
- Evaluate financial performance across multiple entities and provide comprehensive diagnostic reporting.
- Partner with operational and commercial teams to improve efficiencies, profitability, and business outcomes.
- Support long-term strategic planning through scenario analysis and financial modelling.
Required Experience & Qualifications
- CIMA qualification preferred, alternatively a BCom degree with completed Articles.
- 2–3 years' experience within Financial Planning & Analysis, Commercial Finance, or Financial Analysis.
- Proven experience with budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting.
- Strong background in financial analysis and management reporting.
- Experience conducting financial due diligence.
- Advanced Excel skills with a strong track record of building financial models from scratch.
- Solid understanding of profitability analysis, variance reporting, and key business performance metrics.
- Exposure to manufacturing, engineering, or construction sectors will be advantageous.
- Experience using Xero and/or Zoho will be beneficial.
