Job Summary
Job Description:
Lead and oversee the full spectrum of daily financial operations
Compile and present budgets, forecasts, and monthly performance reports
Conduct gross profit analysis to evaluate business performance
Deliver accurate and insightful financial reports, including monthly management accounts
Shape and execute financial strategies aligned to overall business goals
Monitor cash flow, budgets, and forecasts, providing actionable improvement recommendations
Ensure adherence to financial regulations, policies, and internal control frameworks
Identify and drive cost-efficiency initiatives to enhance financial performance
Guide, support, and develop the finance team to maintain high standards of performance
Provide financial insights and support to broader business operations
Review and analyse payroll to ensure accuracy and alignment with financial plans
Manage annual pricing reviews and implement approved rate increases
Oversee accounts receivable and payable functions, ensuring efficiency and accuracy
Manage debtor ageing, invoice submissions, allocations, and credit approvals
Review creditor payments, reconciliations, and intercompany transactions to ensure accuracy and compliance
Skills & Experience:
Minimum of 5 years’ solid experience within financial management
Strong and well-rounded understanding of financial management, reporting, and analytical practices
Proven track record of influencing and supporting strategic financial decision-making
Highly proficient in financial systems, with advanced capabilities in Microsoft Excel
Displays strong communication skills with the ability to lead and engage effectively
Detail-focused with well-developed analytical thinking and problem-solving strengths
Qualification:
CA(SA)
Honors Degree in Accounting Science
