A well-established telecommunications and technology business is seeking a Financial Accountant to take ownership of key financial processes within a dynamic and fast-paced environment. This role provides exposure to a technology-driven organisation where financial excellence is fundamental to supporting business growth, operational efficiency, and long-term sustainability.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare monthly management accounts and financial statements
- Complete balance sheet reconciliations
- Process journals and month-end reporting
- Manage VAT and statutory submissions
- Ensure compliance with IFRS and internal controls
- Assist with annual audits
- Monitor cash flow and fixed asset registers
- Support financial reporting and analysis for senior finance leadership
- Identify opportunities to enhance financial processes and controls
Job Experience & Skills Required:
- BCom Accounting
- Completed SAICA or SAIPA articles advantageous
- 3-6 years' commercial accounting experience
- Experience within telecommunications, technology, ICT, or a related industry advantageous
- ERP system experience and Advanced Excel skills
- Strong technical accounting knowledge
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines
